Dear Readers, Being well is the main goal of recovery, and there are many tools that help. It is so important to find and practice these tools. On the flip side, I believe recovery is uniquely defined by the person, and that acceptance of one’s mental illness is crucial to being able to recover. These two seemingly contradictory values: the importance of learning, growing and working on wellness, and developing an acceptance of mental illness.
